The Stones: Sugilite, Turquoise, Synthetic Opal

  • 2 polished pieces of purple sugilite
  • average sugilite measurements: 4.7mm x 5.9mm
  • 3 polished pieces of turquoise
  • turquoise origin: Kingman, Arizona
  • 2 pieces of polished synthetic opal
  • predominant opal colors: green and blue

The Setting: Inlaid Omega Back Earrings

  • .925 sterling silver, solid
  • stainless steel posts
  • approximate earring dangle length: 1 inch
  • inlay section dimensions: 23.2mm x 6.6mm
  • combined total earring weight: 15.11 grams
  • signed with the initial "C" by the unknown artist, presumably Zuni artist, Jerry Cowboy

Additional Notes: One post came to us bent at the tip- this appears to have possibly been done intentionally.  The post snaps into the earring safely, but not with the post straightened.
