About The Artist

Charlotte Dishta is a well-known Zuni silversmith and master inlay artist. Active since the 1970s, she is extremely well-known for her signature mosaic "rug pattern" inlay jewelry. Using sterling silver inlaid with turquoise, coral, jet, and mother of pearl, she creates intricate, hand-cut geometric designs resembling woven rugs, continuing the Zuni tradition of precise stone-setting. The Dishta Family is famous for their silver and inlay work and it is highly sought after.
