A Bit About The Piece:

Zuni Warrior Dancer bolo tie inlaid with natural stones in sterling silver. Drum dangles from main piece by post with pin back. Drum can be worn separately as a tie tack. The silver detailing accents complete this unique piece. Artist name, "J. Beyuka" (Jonathan Beyuka) stamped on back.

    About The Artist

    Jonathan Beyuka is from Zuni Pueblo and the son of Eddie Beyuka and Madeline Beyuka. Like his father, Jonathan is known for his Kachinas and dancers executed in channel inlay with a variety of materials- generally turquoise, mother of pearl, jet, coral, and others. You can see his work in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston MA and the Kennedy Museum of Art, Ohio University.
