     About The Artist

     Eldred Martinez is an award-winning master silversmith from the Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico. He is famously recognized for his mosaic inlay technique, making his pieces have a more life-like 3 dimensional effect. He decends from a family of highly noted Zuni artists and silversmiths. He began learning his art from his parents and his grandfather, at around age 9. He started making his own pieces at age 12. His pieces are highly sought after and very collectible.
